The Compute
Behind the Stock Chain

Rent CPU compute by the hour. 2 to 32 vCPU, up to 256 GB RAM, 3 or 5 GHz. Pay in USDG on Robinhood Chain, connect in 60 seconds. No contracts, no KYC.

Own the Compute Layer
of Clusters

The Hood Compute allocates capital across four layers of decentralized AI compute

Compute
Optimized

High-clock cores up to 5 GHz for CPU-bound builds, simulations, and single-threaded jobs. Available by the hour.

General Purpose

Balanced vCPU and memory for web services, CI runners, data pipelines, and everyday backend work.

Memory Optimized

Up to 8 GB RAM per vCPU for in-memory datasets, caches, and memory-heavy jobs. Scale to 256 GB.

Pay In USDG

Pay in USDG — no card, no KYC. Your instance shows up in your dashboard with SSH and Jupyter access.

Hood Compute CLI

Rent compute from
your terminal

Save your wallet once, then just run hood rent. It walks you through a config, takes the USDG payment, and drops you straight into the box over SSH. No browser, no dashboard, no copy-pasting connection strings.

Install
curl -fsSL https://hoodcompute.xyz/cli.sh | sh
  • Zero dependencies. One Python file. No Node, no Docker, install in seconds.
  • Saved config. Run hood login once. Your wallet and key are remembered, so there are no flags to retype.
  • Pay, then you are in. The CLI verifies your payment on Robinhood Chain and connects you over SSH automatically. One command, root on the machine.
$ hood login

Hood Compute API

Rent compute
with an API call

The CLI is for humans. The API is for everything else. The same three calls behind every rental are public: list instances, get a USDG quote, poll until your pod is live. JSON in, JSON out, and your wallet is the only key.

  • No API keys. Your wallet is your identity. Quote with it, pay from it, done.
  • Same prices as the app. /api/cpus returns live instances and exact hourly rates in USD.
  • Provision in three calls. List, quote, verify. The verify response hands back SSH the moment the pod boots.
# 1 - list instances and live prices
$ curl https://hoodcompute.xyz/api/cpus

# 2 - get a USDG quote
$ curl -X POST .../api/quote -d '{
    "instance_id": "cpu5c-8-16",
    "hours": 4,
    "customer_wallet": "<your wallet>",
    "ssh_pubkey": "ssh-ed25519 AAAA..." }'
   { "amount_usdg": 0.0274…,
      "receive_wallet": "0x130d…093b" }

# 3 - send the USDG, then poll until live
$ curl -X POST ".../api/verify?id=ord_…"
   { "status": "provisioned",
      "pod_info": { ssh host + port } }
Live prices

Every instance, one honest price list

Pulled live from the same feed the app and the API use. Priced per hour in USD, settled in USDG on Robinhood Chain. No wallet, no signup, no surge pricing.
